Selectivity index of indaziflam to sugarcane cv. IACSP95-5000 in two soil textures

Selectivity index is a way of assessing the discrimination herbicide to given crop by observing its effects on and weeds. The aim was obtain selectivity indaziflam sugarcane cultivar IACSP95-5000 as function five weed species in two soils textures. experiment carried out greenhouse at Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil. treatments consisted doses (0; 12.5; 25; 50; 100; 200; 400; 800 1,600 g active ingredient (ai) ha-1), applied pre-emergence weeds Urochloa decumbens, plantaginea, Digitaria horizontalis, Panicum maximum Rottboellia cochinchinensis. In sandy loam soil, 100% control for all provided 25 ai ha-1. clay D. horizontalis 90% reduction total dry mass (ED90) obtained ha-1, R. cochinchinensis 193 U. plantaginea 152 P. 124 decumbens 94 Indaziflam selective both soils, with 10% (ED10) 137 ha-1 soil texture 353 soil. higher than 1 It not possible due susceptibility herbicide.
